Light of my Life

My baby is five

Posted on: October 1, 2008

Today is Logan’s 5th birthday. Oh, how the years have flown by! We did our best to give him a special day. This morning, he adopted his new Webkinz crocodile, Greeny Yellowy (he picked the name). Then we went out to lunch at Fazoli’s (his choice) with Ma.

Next we went to my parents’ house so all the cousins could play together. They had a great time running around, first inside the house, and later outside. After that, we went to Toys R Us with Grandpa, where Logan picked out an Electronic Battleship game. Then came dinner – this time, Logan chose Logan’s Roadhouse. How appropriate, huh?

Kayla slept peacefully in my arms all through dinner.

By the time we got home, Carrie was plum tuckered out. She fell asleep in the car! But Logan was excited to open his other gifts – a Super Sleuth Changing Tree and a Rescue Pet.

Then Grandma and Grandpa L. called to wish him a happy birthday.

He was so distracted by his new gifts that he could barely pay attention to his telephone conversation. A little while later, Grandpa D. stopped by with cake!

I hope he had a wonderful day! Happy Birthday Logan, we love you so much. Love, Mom and Dad.
